JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY

JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY, the youngest, the first catholic and probably the most sick of American Presidents, became an icon throughout the world. According to his vision of “ A New Frontier” for peace and democracy, he launched several innovative programs, for instance against ignorance, cultural prejudices, poverty, and a surprising one to “reach the Moon with a safe coming back”. Above all, he solved with Khrushchev, the “Cuban Missile Crisis”, where the two superpower military organizations demanded nuclear commitment that would have made the Earth a planet of radioactive waste. He continued resisting the strongest oppositions, to stop the “Cold War” and even to restore normal relations with Cuba. Then as he just decided total U.S.A. withdrawal from Vietnam, he was assassinated, before the end of his first term.
