The Victorian Era was remarkably creative in the arts and sciences. With a population of only fifty million, Great Britain \u201ccolonized\u201d every part of the world, implementing for its own interest : industrial revolution, parliamentary democracy, global maritime trade, strong migration and intermixing of cultures. All this was undertaken within the \u201c Pax Britannica\u201d developing modernization and dependency as well.
