Through a territory as large as Alexander the Great Empire, he lead the armies of liberation, under very hard climatic conditions. He was motivated by a vision of uniting all the colonies, with a same continental identity. Alone, he wrote a Constitution, including democratic institutions submitted to his \u201cenlightened despotism\u201d. He did so because he believed that a complex \u00a0transition was required from former colonized behaviors to a citizenship \u00a0with new democratic freedoms.
