According to his vision of \u201c A New Frontier\u201d for peace and democracy, he launched several innovative programs, for instance against ignorance, cultural prejudices, poverty, and a surprising one to \u201creach the Moon with a safe coming back\u201d. Above all, he solved with Khrushchev, the \u201cCuban Missile Crisis\u201d, where the two superpower military organizations demanded nuclear commitment that would have made the Earth a planet of radioactive waste. He continued resisting the strongest oppositions, to stop the \u201cCold War\u201d and even to restore normal relations with Cuba.
